Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Sileä is a service provided by Noera Technology LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“Noera,” “Sileä,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when businesses use Sileä’s websites, applications, integrations, and related services (the “Services”).

Sileä helps businesses manage customer communications, sales, appointments, workflows, and related operations. A business using Sileä controls the customer information it submits to the Services. For that information, the business is generally the data controller and Noera acts as its service provider or processor. We separately control information used to operate accounts, secure the Services, bill customers, and communicate about Sileä.

Information we collect

Depending on the features a business enables, we may process:

  • Account and business information, such as names, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, login details, billing status, and configuration preferences.
  • Customer and lead information, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp identifiers, tags, notes, consent status, and relationship history.
  • Communications, including WhatsApp messages, message status, templates, attachments, conversation history, and drafts or replies generated by artificial intelligence.
  • Operational information, such as appointments, availability, services, prices, payments, tasks, sales activity, workflows, documents, and internal notes.
  • Integration data from services a business connects, including Meta and WhatsApp business-account metadata, phone numbers, templates, webhook events, and Google Calendar event and availability data.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, device and browser details, timestamps, logs, diagnostic events, and security records.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless a customer chooses to submit it and has a lawful reason to do so. Businesses must not use Sileä to collect information they are not authorized to process.

How we use information

  • Provide, configure, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Connect and operate authorized integrations, including WhatsApp and Google Calendar.
  • Send, receive, route, organize, and analyze business communications.
  • Generate suggested replies, summaries, classifications, follow-ups, and other AI-assisted outputs requested by the business.
  • Manage appointments, availability, workflows, reporting, and customer records.
  • Authenticate users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.
  • Provide support, administer accounts, process payments, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or WhatsApp message data. We do not use customer conversations for unrelated advertising. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Artificial intelligence

When an AI feature is enabled, relevant business instructions and conversation data may be sent to an AI service provider solely to produce the requested output or operate the configured workflow. AI-generated output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed when appropriate. We require our providers to process information under contractual and security restrictions and do not authorize them to use Sileä customer data to train their general-purpose models.

How we share information

We disclose information only as needed to provide the Services, follow a customer’s instructions, protect the Services, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Integration providers selected by the customer, including Meta Platforms and Google.
  • Infrastructure, database, hosting, communications, payment, monitoring, and AI service providers, including providers such as Vercel, Supabase, and OpenAI where used for the configured service.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not permit service providers to use personal information for their own unrelated purposes.

Meta and WhatsApp data

Sileä accesses WhatsApp data only after an authorized business connects its account. Access is used to provide messaging, template management, account configuration, automation, and related operational features requested by that business. Businesses are responsible for obtaining required consent, honoring opt-outs, and complying with Meta’s terms, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and applicable law.

Google user data

When a business connects Google Calendar, Sileä may view availability and create, view, update, or delete booking-related calendar events as authorized by the user. Google data is used only to provide and improve user-facing calendar and scheduling features. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Users can revoke access through Sileä or their Google Account permissions.

Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract, follow the customer’s documented instructions, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or with consent. The business using Sileä determines the legal basis for processing its own customers’ information.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Services. Retention varies by data type, customer configuration, and legal requirements. When an account or integration is disconnected, we stop new access through that integration. Verified deletion requests are ordinarily completed within 30 days; residual encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 additional days before being overwritten, unless longer retention is required by law. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

Security and international transfers

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted service-provider access. No system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal transfer safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on location, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. If your information was submitted by a business using Sileä, contact that business first; we will assist it with verified requests. Account administrators may disconnect integrations and request account deletion at any time.

Children

The Services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information directly through account registration.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email.
